Mental Health Support
Our university offers mental health resources for students who are in need of support. You can call a health professional for an emergency consultation or reach out directly to the Suicide Prevention Lifeline.
Emergency Consultations
If you are having thoughts of suicide, please reach out. CAPS always has a mental health professional available for emergency consultations in-person (during normal business hours) and by phone.
CAPS is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays.
After normal business hours, on weekends, and during University breaks/holidays, a mental health professional is available for emergency phone consultations—call 479-575-5276.

The 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, provides the caller with an available crisis counselor at a local (or as close to local) crisis center in their network.

University Police and local authorities are available to assist if you feel unsafe. In addition to their services, you can download the SafeZone app and turn your phone into a safety device.

Safe Ride
The mission of the Safe Ride program is to provide students with a safe means of transportation from any uncomfortable or inconvenient situation. During operating hours, Safe Ride can pick you up at any location within the Fayetteville city limits and transport you to your residence as indicated on Workday Student.
